1. About SA WebMall

SA WebMall is an online marketplace. Products are listed and sold by independent vendors who each operate their own store. When you place an order, your contract of sale is with the vendor of that product, not with the Marketplace, although the Marketplace facilitates the order and payment.

2. Placing an order

Adding items to your basket does not reserve them. A sale is concluded when your payment is accepted and the vendor confirms the order. If an item turns out to be unavailable after you have paid, you will be refunded.

3. Prices and payment

All prices are shown in South African Rand. Payment is processed through the payment providers offered at checkout. Where a listed price is obviously incorrect, the vendor or the Marketplace may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than fulfil it at that price.

You are responsible for keeping your account password confidential and for activity that takes place under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

7. Reviews and content

Reviews must reflect genuine experience. Content that is false, abusive, or infringes someone else’s rights may be removed.

8. Personal information

Personal information is handled in accordance with our privacy policy and POPIA. Your delivery and contact details are shared with the vendor fulfilling your order so that they can deliver it.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the Marketplace is not liable for the quality, safety or legality of items listed by vendors, but will assist in resolving disputes between customers and vendors.

These terms may change. The version published on this page at the time you place an order is the version that applies to that order.
